Text Studio: Kaomoji is your creative companion for expressing yourself through text! The app provides:

• 📚 Kaomoji collections - Expressive Japanese emoticons
• ✨ Text styling - Fancy fonts and decorative text
• 🎨 Text decoration - Beautiful text transformations

All text processing happens locally on your device. We don't run our own servers to process or store your text creations.

The app uses third-party services for advertising (in free version), crash reporting, and in-app purchases. These services may collect limited device and usage information as described below.

Data collected through third-party services is used to:

• Display and measure ads in the free version (AdMob)
• Detect and fix bugs to improve app stability (Crashlytics)
• Verify Pro purchase to unlock ad-free experience and Pro features
• Optimize performance across different devices

Important: We do NOT sell your personal information to any third parties. Ever.

Pro users: When you upgrade to Pro, ad tracking stops because there are no ads to display. Crashlytics continues to help us fix bugs for all users.

We do not share your data with third parties except through the following services necessary to operate the app:

• Google LLC (AdMob for ads, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, Google Play Billing for Android purchases)
• Apple Inc. (In-App Purchase for iOS purchases)

These service providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We have no control over their data practices beyond the configuration options they provide.

No other data sharing occurs. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to data brokers, advertisers, or any other companies.

• Your text and kaomoji: Never stored on our servers (processed locally only)
• Crash reports: Retained by Crashlytics for 90 days
• Advertising data (free version): Retained by AdMob according to Google's policies
• Purchase status: Maintained as long as you use the app to keep Pro features active

When you uninstall the app, data collection stops immediately. Any data previously collected will be deleted according to the retention schedules above.

We take security seriously and implement industry-standard measures:

• Local processing: All text styling happens on your device - no data transmission required
• HTTPS encryption: All network communications use secure, encrypted connections
• Trusted providers: We only use reputable services (Google/Firebase, Apple) with strong security
• Regular updates: We keep SDKs updated to address security vulnerabilities
• Minimal data collection: We only collect what's necessary for app functionality
• Secure payments: All payment processing handled by Google Play and Apple - we never see your payment details

However, no system is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Text Studio: Kaomoji is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country/region).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at ehlb.dev@gmail.com so we can delete it.

Age requirements:

• United States: 13 years old
• European Union: 16 years old (or as specified by member state)
• Other regions: Minimum age as required by local law

Text Studio: Kaomoji is available worldwide. Data collected by third-party providers may be processed and stored on servers in various countries, including the United States.

Data transfers:

• Google/Firebase and Apple comply with applicable data protection laws
• They use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other legal mechanisms for international transfers
• Data is protected according to their global security standards

By using the app, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside your residence, which may have different data protection rules.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

• Changes in our data practices
• New features or services
• Changes in applicable laws
• Updates to third-party services

When we make changes:

• We'll update the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy
• For material changes, we may notify you through the app
• The updated policy will be posted on our website and app stores

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
