Your privacy matters to us. Unit Converter is designed with privacy in mind - all conversions happen locally on your device, and we don't run our own servers to process your data.

The app works completely offline for its core functionality. However, we do use trusted third-party services (Google AdMob and Firebase) for advertising, analytics, and crash reporting, which may collect limited device and usage information.

This policy explains what data is collected, how it's used, and your choices regarding your information.

Data collected through third-party services is used to:

• Serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance (AdMob)
• Understand app usage to improve features and user experience (Firebase Analytics)
• Detect and fix bugs to improve app stability (Crashlytics)
• Optimize performance across different devices and OS versions

Important: We do NOT sell your personal information to any third parties. Ever.

We do not share your data with third parties except through the following services necessary to operate the app:

• Google LLC (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics)

These service providers process data according to their own privacy policies and Google's terms of service. We have no control over their data practices beyond the configuration options they provide.

No other data sharing occurs. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to data brokers, advertisers, or any other companies.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of data collected about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Portability: Receive your data in a portable format (where applicable)
• Opt-Out: Opt out of data sales (we don't sell data, but you can still exercise this right)
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw previously given consent at any time

Note: Since we don't collect or store personal data on our own servers, most data is managed by Google/Firebase. We'll help coordinate requests with them.

• Conversion data: Never stored on our servers (processed locally only)
• Analytics data: Retained by Firebase according to their policies (typically 60 days for user-level data)
• Crash reports: Retained by Crashlytics for 90 days
• Advertising data: Retained by AdMob according to Google's policies

When you uninstall the app, data collection stops immediately. Any data previously collected will be deleted according to the retention schedules above.

We take security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information:

• Local processing: All conversions happen on your device - no data transmission required
• HTTPS encryption: All network communications use secure, encrypted connections
• Trusted providers: We only use reputable third-party services (Google/Firebase) with strong security practices
• Regular updates: We keep SDKs and dependencies updated to address security vulnerabilities
• Minimal data collection: We only collect what's necessary for app functionality

However, no system is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Unit Converter is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country/region).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at ehlb.dev@gmail.com so we can delete it.

Age requirements:

• United States: 13 years old
• European Union: 16 years old (or as specified by member state)
• Other regions: Minimum age as required by local law

Unit Converter is available worldwide. Data collected by third-party providers (Google/Firebase) may be processed and stored on servers located in various countries, including the United States and other jurisdictions.

Data transfers:

• Google/Firebase comply with applicable data protection laws
• They use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other legal mechanisms for international transfers
• Data is protected according to Google's global security standards

By using the app, you consent to the transfer of information to countries outside your residence, which may have different data protection rules.
