Weather is a weather forecasting app available in both free and premium versions, designed to help you stay informed about weather conditions in your area and around the world.

The app provides accurate, real-time weather data and forecasts. Weather information is fetched from third-party weather data providers via the internet and displayed in an easy-to-read format.

Free version: Supported by advertisements. Premium version: Ad-free experience with additional features (available through in-app purchase).

By using this app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. We use trusted third-party services (Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics) for advertising, usage analytics, and crash reporting.

The app may request the following permissions to enhance your experience:

All permissions are requested only when needed and you have full control through your device settings.

Information collected through third-party services is used to:

• Fetch weather data: Retrieve current conditions and forecasts from weather providers
• Display advertisements: Show relevant ads in the free version (AdMob)
• Improve the app: Understand which features are most used and how to enhance them (Firebase Analytics)
• Fix bugs and crashes: Identify stability issues and improve app reliability (Crashlytics)
• Provide location-based weather: Show weather for your current location when you grant permission
• Process premium upgrades: Verify premium status to unlock ad-free experience

Important: We do NOT sell your personal information to any third parties. Ever.

Premium users: Upgrading to premium removes all ads and stops ad-related data collection.

We do not share your data with third parties except through the following services necessary to operate the app:

• Google LLC (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Services, Google Play Billing for Android purchases)
• Apple Inc. (In-App Purchase for iOS purchases)
• Weather data providers (to fetch weather information for display)

These service providers have access to certain information to perform tasks on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose beyond what is necessary to provide their services.

No other data sharing occurs. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to data brokers, advertisers, or any other companies.

What are cookies? Cookies are small data files stored on your device that help websites and apps remember information about your visit.

Our app's cookie usage:

• The Weather app itself does not explicitly use cookies
• However, third-party services (AdMob, Firebase Analytics) may use cookies or similar tracking technologies
• These technologies collect information to improve ad relevance and analyze app usage

Your choices:

• You can control cookie preferences through your device settings
• Refusing cookies from third-party services may affect some functionality (like personalized ads)
• Core weather features will continue to work regardless of cookie settings

• Weather searches and locations: Not stored on our servers - only used temporarily to fetch data
• Analytics data: Retained by Firebase according to their policies (typically 60 days for user-level data)
• Crash reports: Retained by Crashlytics for 90 days
• Advertising data (free version): Retained by AdMob according to Google's policies
• Premium purchase status: Maintained as long as you use the app to keep Premium features active
• Log data: May be collected temporarily when errors occur, retained for diagnostic purposes

When you uninstall the app, data collection stops immediately. Any data previously collected will be deleted according to the retention schedules above.

We value your trust in providing us with information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it:

• HTTPS encryption: All network communications use secure, encrypted connections
• Trusted providers: We only use reputable services (Google/Firebase) with strong security practices

• Secure payments: All payment processing handled by Google Play and Apple - we never see your payment details

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

The Weather app may contain links to other websites or services (for example, in advertisements or weather news):

• External sites: These third-party sites are not operated by us
• Privacy policies: Each external site has its own privacy policy - we have no control over their practices
• Your responsibility: We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit
• No liability: We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites

Recommendation: Before providing any personal information to external websites, read their privacy policies carefully.

The Weather app is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country/region).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this information from our systems.
